I don't think bloodlines matter either. But people do it because some horses are rare, and their bloodlines matter, and to raise the price of the horse also. If i see a horse i like, i look at it, i don't check for its bloodlines. I look at its color, then maybe if i can, i could actually see the horses personality. I don't judge horses, they are all perfect in my eyes, from purebred to none purebred. If it's a horse, i love it! :D

Keeping dogs outside to sleep ?

Ok, so i have a golden retriever mix and my parents who live next door to me have a black lab. Now, the back yards are connected and i can go through my backyard and let my dog into my parents yard to play with the other black dog durring the day. The black dog is a hunting dog (we live in louisiana so my dad duck hunts every season) but my dog is just a mix from the pound but a good dog. The point is that my parents bulid a 5 by 5 fully equipped dog house for them.It had a light, A/C and Heater in it. They just finished it last week and started thinking that they were going to leave their dog the black one outside over night. My dad still takes her out for training and walking during the week but they thought it was a good idea to help her coat fill and to keep the house cleaner while shes sheading and having her (time) if you know when i mean. Well, they asked me if i would leave my dog outside at night as well to keep the other dog company and i wasnt sure what to do. My dog sleeps in a kennel inside our home but has never spend a whole night outside. Does anyone think it would be a totally bad idea to leave her outside? They have teh dog house and each other and i take her for walks during the week but i just dont want her to feel neglected at night bc she is used to sleeping inside. IDK how she will react. Any answers to this would ge GREAT ....Thanks

In my not-so-seasoned opinion, you have to look at both sides of the coin. There are many white people that are exactly as you describe when you talk about black people. The problem is, there's still this invisible "racist" ideal that Americans have yet to reveal because of how sensitive the issue is right now. One would think that mankind would just grow up and realize that we're all the same. We're just brought up differently because that's what we believe we should be doing. Do I blame you for feeling the way you do? Absolutely not because you're entitled to feel that way. But I do think that your vision may be slightly clouded. Your dissuasion of your daughter dating a black male may seem right for you but what is it really teaching her? We all must learn from our actions and, by you keeping her from the experience, she won't learn anything and may even be slightly "brainwashed" (and I mean that not in an offensive way) to believe the same as you when she should be making that determination all on her own. I realize that you're simply trying to help her down what you see is the right path but the only path that is right is the one that SHE chooses to go down. If it's wrong, she will have only grown from it. A wise man once said to not just go through life but to grow through life. You can't grow if you're holding yourself back from appreciating all aspects of life either good or bad. It just is.

23 Yr Old Barrel Horse. Advice needed.?

Have you had a vet check his joints? If he's been worked hard throughout his life as a roping horse he may be developing arthritis or something, which means he won't be able to run barrels etc for much longer. I used to ride a 23yr old pony who was developing arthritis in her front knees, she would occasionally drop her knees and trip a bit, she loved jumping but we could only do it occasionally for her sake.

Quirky people in the horsey community ?

My grandmother is very quirky. She's 91 and has recently taken a 21 year old 14h Arab on loan; the horse was gelded at the age of 18 after a long and happy career, to embark on a new career as a pony club pony. She mounts her horse from a step ladder and he's good as gold on the ground but an utter lunatic when ridden. She leads my children on their little ponies from Phoenix the Arab and bellows instructions at the children at all times. She always said she'd keep riding for as long as her horse stayed sound; the old horse came up lame through the winter and had to be retired, at which point Granny bellowed that I needed to find her another because she wasn't ready to be retired yet. (She only stopped skiing a couple of years ago...)

If the dam was bred through stud, that's more reason why she should find the papers. There is no possible way to know if they're purebred if they don't have papers. Ask her who she bred the dam with. Find the breeder and ask for the sire's papers/info. It's not really a big deal whether it's totally purebred, but if you're paying a premium for it (which you are if they say that they're purebred), then you should know that it really is.

Why should I play WoW?

Many people tell me that WoW is one of the best games out there and that pretty much everyone, if they could play it, would do so. I played the 10 Day Free Trial and it felt kind of boring to me. And about him, he is mr.popular, its like all the girls love flirting with him, but they ***** bout him behind their back, he doesnt have any loyal friend, and he shows off to impress ppl, and ends up irritating the boys, so no one among the boys is really friendly with him, of course in front of him yes, but no loyal buddy. Anyways when we started talking, he said he doesn believe in friendship and that he has had enough of it and i replied 'if you don't believe in friendship, then why you even talking to me?', he said 'honestly, even i am confused, i dont know, but i just dont want anyone to hurt you, i want what's best for you'. And when i asked the othr girls about how he talks to them, they were like, dont believe him he's such a jerk and he has abused them when they asked him personal questions abt his past girlfriend, but to me he says even though i dont ask him anythin about it.. Its so surprising and weird. And then the other day, he said he was feeling down and he'll talk to me later, when he talked to me in the eve, i asked him how he was, whether he was feeling better and he was like 'ya i am fine and thanks for thinking about me' i got jumpy and i replied 'he no double meaning alright, jus friendly' and he said 'LOL i meant it in a friendly manner oly' and i said ' i am sorry i sounded like a stupid, but its better to keep your guard up, i ve lost my trust once and it hurt i just dont wanna feel it again' and he replied 'i perfectly understand, its better to be on guard and hi 5 i ve lost my trust too' And so we got talkin and sometimes he would comment about my outfit like 'hey wear light color clothes, it'll suit you and also its hot out so light clothes keep you good' And exactly a week before we had our first fight..He was telling me about his ex and how she cheated on him and how he was gonna make her sorry i was like 'dont make me so scared of you' he said 'dont be' and i told him that he need not tell me about his ex and deep feelings until he trusts me completely' and he irrelevantly replied 'trust.. the only person i trust the most is my bff and i tell her everything' i got mad i told him not to talk to me until he trusted me enough he was like 'hey pls dont be upset, lets jus talk, pls pls' i did not reply, i guess i was jealous.. i dnt kno!! But once when i asked him to share his feelings with some1, let it be anyone, and he said he does share it with some1 when i asked who he jus said 'you.' Some of my frnds said maybe he meant me as his bff. But yesterday when we were talking he said he was missin his bff, i told him dats so bad and dat he could talk to me if he wants to he replied 'dats ok, i am chattin with her now' i said bye, he is makin me so mad, he wont say the name of his bff when i asked why he said he didn want any1 to know. god knows why. Is he interested in me? or is he jus goofing around? or does he genuinely wanna be friends? please advise, thank ya'll :)

My Chihuahua is pure bred, AKC parents and registered. She grew to be a VERY muscular 10 pound Chihuahua. Chihuahuas were originally bigger, it was extremely common for them to grow over 6 pounds but that's not what the AKC wanted so they set the standard and down sizing began. Just like German Shepherds weren't originally bred with a severe sloping back but that's what the AKC wanted so now the show lines are usually bred that way. I'm very happy my dog got so big, she's close to the size of my friend's smaller Jack Russels. I'm not a fan of tiny dogs.

Most of the recent college grads cannot find job and those who do get job offers, discover that the rate being offered is ridiculously low. For example, I graduated with bachelor of science in mathematics back in 2008. For many many months there was no job that I could find. Then I gave up hunting for job and instead decided to pursue master's in math. When I heard news by the phony Obama circle that "job market is picking up", I started to apply for job. Then I finally got a full time job offer as "energy analyst". I then discovered I am being offered 13.50 an hour only. That is ridiculously low job offer for someone having bachelors in math, computer science, engineering or physics. People make that without any degree working as cashier in store. I questioned why 13.50 an hour only and the recruiter said in an apologetic tone, "this is all we can offer. times are tough". After some more conversation I discovered that it is a "temp" job. Then after some more conversation I discovered that there are no benefits being offered. Then after some more conversation I also discovered that, "training will not be paid. first 4 weeks is training". So he is saying that for the first 160 hours I work free because training is not paid. And then its also a temp job. I thought after 160 free hours, he will just say "its temp job so its over now" and take a lot of work. I refused the offer.

I would not be concerned with speed at all. The two most important considerations are accuracy and penetration, do not let anyone tell you otherwise. That heavier arrow will penetrate way better. Proper spine will help it to shoot more accurately. Lots of practice will help you hit your target. Set at 70 and a proper arrow it will slice through a bull elk like butter. I would go to a reputable bow shop and have them help you set it up. There are too many variables to get it right over the net.

Im pretty sire it wasnt a snake. It isnt that small. Its a dog probably. Well he stinks really bad. He is asking constant for attention. Which pocket knife should i get?

I collect pocket knifes. I have a really nice reliable Buck Knife i use for hunting and basically everything, but i want a pocket knife that is a little bigger. I was looking at some of Cold Steel's knifes (They make ridiculously huge folders) The models that i like the most were the Ti-lite 6 inch and the Recon1 Tanto 4inch i also looked at some of SOG's knifes but they didn't really sell anything bigger than 3 1/2 inch knifes for my price range of $40-$75. I know a 6 inch blade in your pocket is pretty huge but i think (know) i can pull it off. Are there any other pocket knife models that have at least a 4 inch blade that are any better?

Camping + guns-legal?

i live in ny state + plan on taking my wife + son camping in a few weeks. i'm also an avid licensed hunter. the property we'll be camping on is infested w/bear + coyotes. i don't plan on hunting these animals b/c hunting season is closed. but,am i allowed to keep a shotgun or rifle in the tent w/me to protect us from these potentially dangerous + wild animals? i don't feel like going to jail for protecting my family from a raging bear or a pack of coyotes. please help

So, suck it up, take a deep breath and move on. All dogs have faults- your included. LISTEN to what people say and look critically at your dog. Is it true or is it jealousy? Don't fall victim to kennel blindness. Sometimes it hurts to hear what other perceive those faults to be, but think of it as a learning opportunity. Are the judges seeing what they see or seeing what you see?

I would try together her approved as a warmblood broodmare, but I don't know that she'd be accepted as she isn't really the classic warmblood build... At least a hand to short, and she can no longer safely jump. And I definitely don't want to breed her I the baby can't be registered, I will not have my precious pony's baby being sold for meat; never in a million years. Does anyone have any ideas? There's no hope in doing anything with the quarter horse registry, as far as i know, but i'm not sure about anything else. Also, I can't afford big fancy expensive studs... Unfortunately.

She was born a dun with a dorsal and zebra strips, but no black markings. Her head already is growing fresh hair that is a little darker than a buckskin. Hey y'all! I was wondering why my breeding stock paint mare produced a bsp when bred to a b&w tobiano stallion?

My mare is a registered apha bsp. Dark bay with an almost all white face and white eyelashes. The sire is a black and white tobiano. She just had her foal and from what we could see it's either a brown or bay with a star and snip, one tall stocking and a small sock on her hind legs. I thought that we'd have some kind of paint since the sire was a tobiano bred to our bsp. Why did she turn out to be a breeding stock paint instead of a colored paint????

My boyfriend brought home a black lab pup tonight that will be his new hunting dog, ususally I wouldn't mind and I would be excited about the new member to our family but, I'm 8 1/2 months pregnant. The baby could come any day, and now i have a new puppy to worry about taking care of! We are very young live in our own place that I have to clean and keep up on while he works all day then comes home and works. WHAT WAS HE THINKING!! I take tutoring. I am really tight with a teacher there and she is really good to me.( not my crush LOL) i first saw my crush in lobby of the tutoring place.. We exchanged looks and smiles but couldn't talk because i was already almost late for class.. I later found out that she was the niece of the teacher i know. So we sit together in the sermon but really don't strike up a conversation. I ask her about what classes he's taking, how long she's been at dallas but she just answers my question with fewest words as possible lol.. After sermon ppl break up into groups where we talk about the sermon. During prayer, she would look up at me and when i saw her, she would twitch her head back down like she never did(so cute ha ha).. The next day, i tell her hi with a smile and she looks as if shes taken aback and quickly says hi back. Yesterday, the teacher's daughter, her guy friend and my crush were supposed to go to a movie together but my crush didn't want to go. I visited their house to borrow Internet and said that i wanted to go and persuaded her to go too, without effort she accepted :) . Te ride there, she was acting even weirder than usual.. She would show everyone pics of food and ask questions like "why are there lines on the road?" lol!! She wouldn't even look at me siring the rode and only look at her phone texting. It seemed like she was suddenly notinterestedd in me, not walking next to me, talking to me or even acknowledging me. because lately she seemed so distant (and also there were others) i couldn't even strike up move. Alright, plus when I chat her up on facebook, she is even more distant and it seems like she wants to end the conversation and seems uninterested. Why do you think she is even more distant in chat? How ask her out? Does she like me? Thanks guys

Well, let me tell you my story. I bought a little Poodle mix/mutt from a BYB. My dog had his first seizure in January of this year. (He's 3 years old) Since then, I have come to learn that his Sire and Dam also have seizures and that FOUR out of a litter of 7 have them. So, what do you think? There may even be more than 4 that have them, but that's what I found out so far.

Are all guns viable to use in New vegas without having a particularly hard time? Yes, if he was good with the puppies last time- there is no reason to assume he will act any differently this time. No, he does not know they are "his" puppies, He is probably just a very nice tempered dog. If your female knows him well and was comfortable with him around the puppies last time, there is no reason to assume she will be any different this time either. The six month old dog is a new proposition- she may be nice or she may be too rough and play way too hard with them even if she is good tempered- no telling- so don't leave her around puppies unsupervised. I used to breed many years ago and some males are nice with puppies, some are not so much. Neutering him probably will not alter this fact. I had a stud who loved puppies- some females were cool with him messing with their puppies- some would chase him off until puppies were older. Not every dog I had at the time was bred to him-I would occasionally send one out to be bred elsewhere- he treated all the puppies alike- he was just a sweet good tempered dog.

i think you need a lawyer ... the breeder i got my dog from i had to sign a contract to say i would not spay her ... i spayed her before she was 6 months old because she was a pet not a showpiece ... the breeder took me to court and lost ... the basic concept is you can not contract to control someone elses belonging for life no matter what is in the contract and no matter who signed ... a dog is property and the person you sold to is doing what he wants with his property ... i think people who breed dogs need to grasp the puppies are not their concern for life ... the second money changes hands i would tell you to mind your own business ... but if you want to, sue him for breach of contract, and you will be laughed out of the courtroom ... this question is kind of funny because you are a breeder making money from selling puppies but you have a problem with someone else doing the exact same thing, you just consider your standards higher than the gentleman you sold the dog too ...
