Why do people think bloodlines are such a big deal?

I don't think bloodlines matter either. But people do it because some horses are rare, and their bloodlines matter, and to raise the price of the horse also. If i see a horse i like, i look at it, i don't check for its bloodlines. I look at its color, then maybe if i can, i could actually see the horses personality. I don't judge horses, they are all perfect in my eyes, from purebred to none purebred. If it's a horse, i love it! :D

Keeping dogs outside to sleep ?

Ok, so i have a golden retriever mix and my parents who live next door to me have a black lab. Now, the back yards are connected and i can go through my backyard and let my dog into my parents yard to play with the other black dog durring the day. The black dog is a hunting dog (we live in louisiana so my dad duck hunts every season) but my dog is just a mix from the pound but a good dog. The point is that my parents bulid a 5 by 5 fully equipped dog house for them.It had a light, A/C and Heater in it. They just finished it last week and started thinking that they were going to leave their dog the black one outside over night. My dad still takes her out for training and walking during the week but they thought it was a good idea to help her coat fill and to keep the house cleaner while shes sheading and having her (time) if you know when i mean. Well, they asked me if i would leave my dog outside at night as well to keep the other dog company and i wasnt sure what to do. My dog sleeps in a kennel inside our home but has never spend a whole night outside. Does anyone think it would be a totally bad idea to leave her outside? They have teh dog house and each other and i take her for walks during the week but i just dont want her to feel neglected at night bc she is used to sleeping inside. IDK how she will react. Any answers to this would ge GREAT ....Thanks

Has my racism improved the quality of my life?

In my not-so-seasoned opinion, you have to look at both sides of the coin. There are many white people that are exactly as you describe when you talk about black people. The problem is, there's still this invisible "racist" ideal that Americans have yet to reveal because of how sensitive the issue is right now. One would think that mankind would just grow up and realize that we're all the same. We're just brought up differently because that's what we believe we should be doing. Do I blame you for feeling the way you do? Absolutely not because you're entitled to feel that way. But I do think that your vision may be slightly clouded. Your dissuasion of your daughter dating a black male may seem right for you but what is it really teaching her? We all must learn from our actions and, by you keeping her from the experience, she won't learn anything and may even be slightly "brainwashed" (and I mean that not in an offensive way) to believe the same as you when she should be making that determination all on her own. I realize that you're simply trying to help her down what you see is the right path but the only path that is right is the one that SHE chooses to go down. If it's wrong, she will have only grown from it. A wise man once said to not just go through life but to grow through life. You can't grow if you're holding yourself back from appreciating all aspects of life either good or bad. It just is.

True, I met my ex while in Germany. We did not work out but he is still a great friend. I was not looking. Germans are really great people.

Car not Starting Land Cruiser VX 100 Sires 4.7L V8?

I unfortunately rolled my Cruiser about a week ago (kinda fell off a small bridge). the body is totally busted but the engine and chassy is still perfect. well the drill is the car was on its side for about 2 hours. there was a oil spill and i topped up.. but the thing is i do not know why the car is not starting and it shakes too much upon crankin and does not start. i cheeked everything. so what could be wrong???
