Depends why you want a dog. If you intend to show, then yes show tittles are important. I see nothing specific about allergies. If I want a working dog or a pet, I don't want some show champion that will fall apart if it eats something besides its long searched for $2/pound dog food. I think it is time show breeders quit talking and actually start putting a priority on health an temperament.
