Normal behavior for this tail of two kitties?

Very normal. I had a similar situation. They hated each other for about a week (hissing, growling) then they moved onto tolerating each other for about another week or so. Then moved onto playing occasionally, now they sleep together and are best buds. Whole thing took about a month, maybe a little longer. Just hang in there.
