Xbox 360 voltage problem. I bought my Xbox 360 in USA and now I'm moving to UAE.?
So, I stayed there for a while, played some Xbox, worked great. But now, I'm moving to UAE (Middle East), and the adapter for Xbox says Input AC: 100V-127V 63 Hz Output DC: 175W. I know that the voltage in UAE or Middle east is 220V-240V (not compatible with the US and Canada, but compatible with Europe, including the UK), 50 Hz frequency. Soo, I COULD use a voltage converter but a lot of people said it heats and blows up after half an hour. So that is useless. Now, what if I buy an original Xbox 360 adapter from UAE? That would be 220V-240V Will it support my Xbox 360? And the back of Xbox 360 says 12V (some sign) 16,5A; 5V (same sign) 1A. Please help me. I don't want to burn my Xbox 360 up. Thanks.
