When should i call the breeder or expect an e-mail?
I posted up a question prior to this one about possibly emailing an akita breeder regardless if it would be too early or not and I have done so however....i just re-read what I wrote and i don't believe I sound as educated about the breed or just in the e-mail generally as i should have been. I have been waiting 5 days for a response and still nothing! I have come to the understanding that they are trying to breed two of their dams with buckridge akita's sires. I have looked at both sites and I do like both sites however I believe Akirakon akitas (the breeders whom i originally emailed who are breeding their dams) is the best possible choice for me. I want to call her when I come back from my 4 day trip in NJ so this way I won't feel like I am pressuring the breeder or anything. Normally I am not this scared to call breeders as I have done so for my mom in the past. In the e-mail I failed to mention that I am looking for a male akita as a companion pet BUT I will be taking him with me where ever I go ONCE ALL of his shots are taken care of, this includes events at the local YCSPCA Brougher companion animal shelter i volunteer at. Does anyone have some FRIENDLY advice on what I should do or if there is any reason for me to be scared or nervous? Its crazy but its eating me on the inside I am so confident with dogs yet when it comes to speaking with people I get so scared. Along with advice on how I should go about calling the breeder when I come back from NJ or before I go, would anyone also know how long I should wait before even expecting an email? Sorry to sound like some type of prude or anything but when it comes to people I am painfully shy and nervous. FRIENDLY advice only please I hate when people feel the need to start arguing because that's not what I am looking for thank you =)
